THERE ARE PRODUCTS TO RE-COAT THE ROOF, BUT I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND THEM. JUST LIVE WITH THE COLOR OR GET THE ROOF REDONE. REGULAR EXT PAINTS WILL WEAR OFF AND LOOK LIKE SH!T IN A YEAR IF THAT LONG

I have painted for 37 years, and A licensed contractor here in Florida..I have painted every kind of roof imaginable, and yes..it will not peel if done properly.I have houses here I painted 20 years ago still holding...Some just start slopping on any kind of paint, without reconizing what base the roofing material is made of, thus not using A compatable paint forthe shingle product, and then it will peel..they also do not clean the roof properly prior to painting and this causes peeling...You failed to mention what type of roof you have, shingles, metal, tile etc..feel free to email me if you wish giving me this information, and I will will give you step by step info on how to properly do this, and without any peeling..I am A true painter..not someone that is jack of all trades, but master of none...

if it is metal roof, it can be painted. just be sure it is in good condition. if the roof is tarpaper or shingles, it can be coated with tar, but it would be probably better to replace it. a rubber roof may be the answer.they last 20-25 years, maybe longer

I have seen them painted , the paint wears off in a couple of years and seems to look tacky but a fresh paint should freshin it up . the worst thing about painting it is having to get up on it and possably damaging it.

Have the roof coated with rubber. In NC, there are signs all over the place for obtaining a rubber roof. They have various colors.
