I was trying to figure out if there was any way to make my desktop pc more mobile, while keeping the current computer I have now.

Yes but it would be pretty heavy.

Ideally find the smallest lightest case all your components will fit into and get a small light lcd.

Then get a UPS for power.

Your main problem is that it is still going to be very heavy and bulky.

You might want to try mounting the lcd to the side of the computer and getting a case with a handle.

Make a briefcase computer. Some of the very first PC's,(Personal Computer), were kind of like this. Heavy, had a handle, attached monitor. Perhaps there is more info on Howstuffworks.com-"Computer Channel", or in Wikipedia.com

LoL carry the case on your back and put the monitor on your lap, u shud just get a laptop its prices will drop after new years

I didn't watch that movie, but out of your description I would say that he was using EVDO internet access. It can be done by special modem or plugged in through your cell phone if it supports this option. You can get EVDO through most providers but check the coverage for your area first. Hope this helps.
