if Siskel and Ebert and now Roeper grew up on a farm instead of a city and each was in a silo bin or tractor accident which cut off 8 of thier fingers and all three of them were only left with their 2 middle fingers, would they have still been good movie critics?

I dislike roeper as well, and hope that ebert recovers from his sickness and gets again to film reviewing! Even though siskel and ebert differed on opinions, fairly most commonly, i leave out siskel. They were a good staff.

Unlike the ridiculous answers by everyone else, yes they would have been fine as movie critics. You don't need thumbs or fingers to review movies, just a voice.
