I got a blood test from my dr monday and results were less then 2, what does that mean?I know I am not preg but I throught if you were not preg the hormon level was 0. Is it possible to have less then 2 and still be preg?please no nasty remarks

Yes anything 5 or less is negative. You do sometimes have a little bit in your body. But Hcg leveles double every 48 hours or maybe its 72 hours. I am not 100% sure. So if it was only 2 then no you are not pregnant!

I thought the same thing. I had a blood test because I had a positive pregnancy test and my level was 5. I started my period and thought it was a miscarriage. I asked, was I pregnant before, and they said no. I guess anywhere between 0 and 5 is normal. I'm now 17 weeks pregnant but don't know my level now.

hi Asia, sorry to hear you're going through this...i'm not 100% sure if having less than too means that you could still be pregnant, i'd believe there's a minimum threshold that will show a positive, you could ask your doc or someone at the lab, in the meantime you can also ask a doctor online for free to see what they think, try www.FertilityTies.com
