I've rode a Vespa GTS 250, and was very pleased with that bike. Comfortable, fast (as in leaving cars in the dust fast) , fuel injected, nimble, and a bag of chips. I haven't tried their new three wheeled bike, the MP3, but i really want to. I don't think there is a "best" 250cc bike, because that is all a matter of opinion. You have to decide what the best 250cc bikes are. All we can give you is candidates.

it particularly is engine length (technically, the displacement of the combustion chamber in the engine). The smaller the engine, the less potential, weight, and gasoline intake. and value... while you're new to motorcycles, that's good to no longer circulate too enormous. A 250cc bike has sufficient potential to maintain a grin on your face. 500cc is double the engine length and approximately double the potential. it is likewise approximately 5 cases that of a one hundred. whilst a 250 might look small, that's a brute while in comparison with a one hundred. attemptcontinual some motorcycles till now you purchase. you will understand what's in simple terms too enormous or small for you once you do.

Got to go with 2 stroke for the speed and power, But which one...
Old is often better
Yamaha 250 either RD,TDR or any of the watercooled twins YPVS on on some models.
Suzuki X7.. Was a race bike on the road if you can't find one the X5 200 twin is a near compromise
Kawazaki KH 250 Very rare triple two stroke But handling needs sorting.
Dependable 4 strokes are Honda but don't expect them to light a candle to the 2 strokes.
Also consider the exotics Benelli 250 four stroke four and the original Bandit 250 four stroke four.

I want say which is best. When I decided to buy a 250cc I looked at an liked the rebel. But bought a Virago 250cc, because its a v-twin an haven't regretted it 5,500 miles later.

If you want a 250 road bike then it has to be an Aprillia RS250. They are a real giant killer, capable of giving much bigger bikes a run for there money.

As in motocross? I like the YZ 250F. Its has a 4 stroke engine. If you like it comes with white plastics. =p Its a great bike for anyone in the height range between 5'6" to 6'4".
