You be the judge as to whether I am smart.
First of all I would rephrase the question, 1. "If there were 10 birds on a power line and I shot 1, how many would be left?"
Then I would say "None, because they would fly away at the sound of the gun."
Question number 2 also needs some editing: If there were five fish in a tank and 5 of them drowned, how many would be left?
The answer is: Fish don't drown.

1. None because the other birds would be frightened by the shot and they would fly away.
2. 5 because they can swim anyway if they drown.

1. none, they'd have flown off after the loud gun shot and movement around them.
2. Five, cause they would have to drown in a tank of air, and wouldn't go anywhere.
Sorry missed the n off the first one.
