Can you figure these out :

1 . If there was 10 birds on a power line , and
I shot 1 . How many are left ?

2 . If there was 5 fishes in a tank , and 5 of them
drown . How many are left ?

Remember think carefully !

1. there wouldn't be any birds left because they'd be scared off.

2. since fishes can't drown, all of them remain.

First of all I would rephrase the question, 1. "If there were 10 birds on a power line and I shot 1, how many would be left?"

Then I would say "None, because they would fly away at the sound of the gun."

Question number 2 also needs some editing: If there were five fish in a tank and 5 of them drowned, how many would be left?

The answer is: Fish don't drown.
