de klerk ended apartheid. mandela was never a freedom fighter, he was a terrorist who killed several innocent women and children. south africa was the safest country and had the highest standard of living before mandela became president. since mandela, it has become the rape and murder capital of africa, and the number of people living on less than one dollar a day has more than doubled
