Speedy the little Alka Seltzer guy who sang "Plop, plop, fizz, fizz, oh what a relief it is"and of course I remember the Doublemint twins who sang "double your pleasure, double your fun, with double good, double good doublemint gum". The other one I remember is the Texaco commercial when they sang "You can trust your car to the man who wears the star, the big bright Texaco star. Great question that brought back memories.

Marky Maypo. An oatmeal cereal commercial. Or the Coppertone ad jingle, sung by Vic Damone, in 1963. I think the Maypo commercial with father trying to get his son to open his mouth for the cereal, is a bit older.

It was a late 70s commercial for Miss Clairol's Loving Care hair color and the person was singing "I'm Gonna Wash That Gray Right Out Of My Hair."

Yes, I do remember that! Very funny. There were a few different ones with Mother Nature. What about "I can't believe I ate that whole thing" for Alka Seltzer. or "Time to make the donuts" for Dunkin Donuts or "Please don't squeeze the Charmin" Or "Polmolive, you're soaking in it"with Madge the manicurist or "I'd like to teach the world to sing" Coke.

Vegemite commercial in black and white.
I still remember the song!!!
"We're happy little vegemites
As bright as bright can be.
We all enjoy our vegemite
For breakfast, lunch and tea.
Our Mummy says we're growing stronger
Every single week
Because we love our vegemite,
We all adore our vegemite
It puts a rose in every cheek."
Such a shame so many modern commercials use current pop songs instead of writing original jingles.
