No Pleats, Plz!
I work in retail, and tbh, we just arent selling that many pleated pants.. men and women aint buying 'em. They just look awful whether you're standing or sitting.
Get a nice pair of non pleated kakis
nice polo shirt or a button up
belt w/a nice buckle
and some badass shoes... Your set!!! :D

Pleated dress pants were considered stylish in the 90's....For a more updated and professional look definitely go with a plain front pant. It will make you look slimmer as pleats create a "bigger" image. Find a great suit with a tailored jacket and flat front, straight-leg pant and you will look fabulous.

i think of pleats went out of vogue some years decrease back. once you're a guy and function slightly a lager abdomen then i think of a pleat helps conceal this. once you're a woman than i could say no pleats except you're over 50.

Pleats are all right with dress pants. Personally, I would switch between them and shoes that may be more comfy.

it depends. most of the time I prefer non-pleated pants on men. especially if you are athletic. the only people I know of who are OK in pleast are those who are top heavy, have very thin legs, and no butt. my dad is the only person I know of who looks OK in pleates. he is all belly.
but seriously it would depend on your body shape and the pants.
