What do you think of the name Gisele or Gisela for a girl. Do you like them at all and which is nicer?

I know a woman from Austria whose name is Gisela. I have never been able to say it the way she does, and as a result I avoid talking to her. Is this what you want for your baby? Her life isn't about the high class of the name you give her, it's about her survival in normal America. Name her Jenny!

Depends on the middle name - I love both, especially with one L. It's kind of like how I like Daniele or Daniela better than Danielle or Daniella - it looks a little more elegant somehow.

Like if you were going to use a shorter middle name, like Anne, Gisela Anne sounds much better than just Gisele Anne - the syllables have to work together. I really love both though - Gigi or Gia or even Elle or Ellie are super cute nicknames. And I can't believe someone thinks the name Roxanna would be better than Gisela! Not that Roxanna is a bad name - I love it too, especially the nickname Roxy, but seriously - wth lol.

Giselle is the nicer of the two. (with two L's) Ellie is a cute pet name.

Gisela just doesn't sound right. It kinda sounds like a disney princess name to me. I personally would pick a different name but if you love it then use it.
