Lie can never answer the truth with truth.
Whatever Lie says it is a lie.
Truth does see the truth in the lie,
For truth only knows truth.
Lie is lost, for it doesn't know truth and
has no ability to prevent Truth from knowing.
Lie wants to hide, Truth shines, and lie
Cowers.

Well a 1/2 of a truth is a whole lie. That's the truth.

the only way to answer your question is with one. Does the truth live? In theory truth is actuality. reality is truth. A lie is a fabrication of someone experiencing reality. they aren't as similar as you might believe. the truth IS a lie ISN'T. So does the lie hold any power? I don't think it does. A lie can only hide the truth. thats it's purpose. It's not out to change reality, just the way we see it.

Your characterization of these elements might be impeding your ability to think about them or get an answer. Assuming you mean fact or fiction, then fiction can answer questions of fact (Hypotheses are examples of this. They are not fact, yet they try to answer questions of fact.)

Truth can not see, and lies can not kill anything. Truth and lies are only things out there, it it up to other beings (namely us) to distinguish between the two and act accordingly.
