I own them all, and I have to say I'd stick with your 60GB PS3. For one, the 60GB is disappearing rapidly. Second, the PS3 promises to have a better game lineup for years to come. Halo 3 was really the system seller for the 360 -- that day has come and gone. Depending on personal preference, the PS3 already has a more diverse [more than just sports and FPS, albeit good, titles ala Xbox 360] game selection.
PS3 will soon have Uncharted: Drake's Fortune, Haze, and possibly Unreal Tournament III before Christmas. In 2008, things heat up even more. Big exclusive titles like Metal Gear Solid 4, Final Fantasy XIII and Versus XIII, Gran Turismo 5, and various others will be coming [and don't forget the free online service Playstation Home]. Furthermore, the PS3 is getting equal versions of all of the great titles that are hitting the Xbox 360 [Assassin's Creed, GTA4, etc.]. To be honest, most of the big 360 titles aren't exclusive at all. They're either being ported to PC or are on the PS3.
Finally, the hardware differences. The PS3 offers technology that will be standard within the next couple years [meaning it will be going strong for a good six+ years], while the 360 is designed to be replaced within a two to three year period from today. Not to mention the hardware failure rate of the 360 [I've had to replace mine twice! Ridiculous...400$+ for shoddy hardware]. The PS3, you can check this, has had little to no hardware failure.
In summary, the PS3 has been designed to last in the industry. Yes, the first year was slow, but launch years always are. Just like PS2 [it took a good year for the thing to get going], the PS3 will soon hit its stride. I love my 360, but it's on the way out. It simply has no variety. Hope this helps you, and sorry for the length.

I advise that you keep your 60GB PS3. I don't know if you know, but Assassins Creed is also avaliable for the PS3 as well, it's not a exclusive title to the Xbox 360.

If you sell your PS3 I can guarantee that you will regret it once the PS3's big exclusives come out. Going from the PS3 to the Xbox 360 is like downgrading your gaming experience. The Xbox 360 doesn't have the built in Wifi, it isn't Bluetooth, the Xbox 360 doesn't use a HD format for it's games it still uses cheap DVD's for it's games, it doesn't have a Web browser, it doesn't have Free Online play, and most of all the Xbox 360 isn't reliable.

I don't know what games you play, but there are a bunch of games to choose from for the PS3 right now. A PS3 exclusive that nearly every PS3 owner has been keeping their eyes on is coming out this week or next week: Uncharted Drakes Fortune. And December 4th, a PS3 exclusive First Person Shooter is coming out called Haze, and that game looks awesome as well.

And just to name a couple of the big PS3 exclusives coming out next year:

Metal Gear Solid 4
Metal Gear Online
Killzone 2
God of War 3
The Getaway 3
Gran Turismo 5
Final Fantasy XIII
Tekken 6
Motorstorm 2
SOCOM: Confrontation

I wonder if there is that many major Xbox 360 exclusives coming out next year.... I don't think so.

Stick with your Playstation 3 and continue to "Play Beyond".

Absolutely! The 360 has great online, great games line-up's & it can play DVD's already! The PS3 has a free online service, but flaws like if you download things, it has to stay on that screen, its has 2 great games right now: Resistance & Ratchet & Clank. On the 360, theres Mass Effect, Assasians creed, Bioshock, & theres the online games, too, like the original Sonic The Hedgehog's , Contra, Pac Man, all these games you SHOULD remember are here! And it also has an 120 GB model. Honestly, go for the elite: Less chance of the red ring of death.

Absolutely. I'd try to sell you to the Wii but since you want Assasin's Creed, I can't really do that. I would definately buy the 360 over the PS3.

i have an xbox 360 and have had the xbox ever sense the first one came out so im all for it. and yeah xbox has way more games out right now that are more interesting to the consumer plus the ones that are in plan for the future when for the ps3 not many known titles are coming out as of right now. if i was you i would go with the better deal and sell ur ps3 before the price goes down.

Certainly, a 360 has the best games and the good good games that a PS3 has are not usually exclusive anyway.
