I love all the names! It's great that you're giving your kid names from both your cultures.

I think my favorite boy name is either Rousseau or Beau - probably Rousseau a little more though since he could use the nickname Russ, if he'd like later on. Still, Beau just has to be one of the cutest names ever - I know a guy named Booker we call Bo. Laurent and Emile are also really cool, but might open up to some teasing later on - a guy named Laurence at my school gets ripped on a lot (though it might not just be his name lol).

For girls, Isabeau is a gorgeous name, and much less common (at least in America) than the ever-popular Isabel. Plus, you could use the nickname Beau here on a girl, and that would be adorable. Aimee is nice too, but much less 'authentically' French seeming, since a lot of non-French people have adopted it as a popular name, along with Denise, Michelle, etc. Aurelie is one of my favorite names ever - so sweet and pretty sounding. I know one who's a bit of a tomboy, so we call her Riley lol. Noemi is a lovely name, and less common than Naomi, which, though great, is like Denise and Michelle (but much better lol). It's been on my favorite name list for a couple years, ever since I read it in The American. Oceane is really great sounding too (though I'm probably pronouncing it wrong lol), but it's probably better off as a middle name if you'd use it at all (but I know you guys are going for an Indian middle name). So my favorite names here are definitely Isabeau or Aurelie - either one is absolutely gorgeous.

Good luck and congrats!

No offence , but Unless you are French or of immediate French decent , I think that these names are just school yard beatings waiting to happen

They are all wonderful names! I love Rousseau, Émile and Aurélie. And if you like Émile there is also the girl's version Émilie.

So you want your child to have a life time of pronouncing his/her name for everyone?

If your original language does not use accents on letters, don't name your child a name that does.

Stop trying to be "different" and give your child a strong meaningful name that he/she won't spend their entire lives spelling for people.

In the end its not your name.
