Do bears defecate in the woods? Of course Israel influences US politicans, economics, military spending, arms shipments, etc. etc. The way I see it, American-Israeli relations are a major cause of the continuing conflicts in the Middle East. Think about it. If we withdrew our support or used our military might to force the combatants to knock it off, there would soon be peace and harmony in that troubled area and well as most areas on this pitiful planet.

Unfortunately, yes. Israel's displacement of the Palestinians and America's unrelenting support of Zionism is the underlying cause of all our troubles in the Middle East. Why didn't we just give them New Mexico, and let them make it bloom? They wouldn't have needed an army, let alone nuclear weapons.
