Spitball, shineball, scuffballs to name a few popular names for them.
Basically ANY pitch that isn't throw by only the hand throwing it and only the ball and hand making the movement naturally. Any substance or technique to "create" extra movement on the pitch is illegal. Clean, dry fingers only.
Note: Occasionally, on cold days MLB will allow the pitchers to blow into their hands to keep them warm. This is normally not allowed on warmer days. It's up to the home plate ump to make that call and it varies.

Any pitch through which the ball is altered or added to is not allowed.
The spitter, scuffball, shine ball . . . Bob Forsch of the Cardinals pushed the line when he would publicly, right out there in the open, pull up the seams of the ball with his fingernails in the hopes that they would catch more air and put some English on an otherwise mediocre fastball . . .
Again, anything that comes off the ball or is put on the ball makes the pitch outlawed. (That's why they go through so many balls in a game.)

There aren't any pitches that are specifically banned by name; rather, there is a set of rules stating what a pitcher is and isn't allowed to do. Anything that defaces the ball (such as a spitball or scuffing it) are banned, and there are limits on what type of motions the pitcher can go through. Anything that fits in those rules is allowed.
