I believed 666 was the number of an omen, and 69 is the number for sex driving that will put you in trouble... the speed sex limit should be 68, or you'll be facing the other way around. ;o)

The number 7 was used in Revelation to show divinely determined completeness. Seven congregations, seven lamp stands, seven stars, seven seals, etc., etc. Six would be incomplete, a falling short of completeness. 666 would be for added emphasis, denoting gross failure. The wild beast symbolizes earthly, man made governments. These governments tell the people that they have the answer, they know how to solve mankind's problems. They have completely failed in that promise. Having the mark of the beast, 666, means you put your trust and your heart into human rule, these man-made governments, ignoring or even just putting them above God's kingdom as the only hope for mankind.

The number 666 was previously thought to have been the Number of the Beast (the devil), so people once thought that the year 666 was to be the year of the advent of the Antichrist.

Hello,,in the Bible the number of the beast(DEVIL) is 666 , in the BIBLE !! REVELALTION Ch.14 Verse 18.. it is symbolic to all who have hatred for peace and security, no family relations except to disrupt and breed discontent towards all living creatures, the symbol is everywhere in the natural world , providing you have the wisdom to know its design there is another way to make the numbers and that is the path to the darkness in mankind.

It was said to be the number of the beast in revelation. several scholars have shown that applying gematria to the full name of nero results in that number. Revealation has many thinly-veiled criticisms of roma and its rulers. It was not wise to say much about a man who executed his own mother after trying to kill her several times.
