I'm a beginner, so i don't want anything real fancy, but i don't want anything im going to be trading in within a year. Assume that i don't know anything about drums... because the only drumming i've done is on rock band at walmart. heh

I was in the music department for years... my BEST advice is to get sticks and a PAD... practice and practice.

Also, please don't play near MY house, I'm old and don't like the noise !!
