I'm a beginner, so i don't want anything real fancy, but i don't want anything im going to be trading in within a year. Assume that i don't know anything about drums... because the only drumming i've done is on rock band at walmart. heh

I was in the music department for years... my BEST advice is to get sticks and a PAD... practice and practice.
Also, please don't play near MY house, I'm old and don't like the noise !!

Craigslist is your superb wager in case you do no longer desire crappy tin cymbals. $4 hundred-$600 gets you a Tama Rockstar and a few Meinl HCS or a Pearl innovative and prescient with some crap Pearl inventory cymbals. purchase used!
