Hey, I am planning on upgrading my RAM for my computer and I don't know nothing about it, I need help. I bought this DDR2 PC-4200 1 GB ram for my Dell computer which is really crappy and I tried to put in the RAM but it did not fix the notches on the memory card was in the wrong place so I had to return it. for my computer I only need one notch on the memory card if that is important..and I think the card taht was already in it was a PC-3200

I need help

1.knowing what kind of card I need to buy so it will fit.
2.how do I check how much my motherboard can support.
3. and anything else I might need to know before i go out and buy the card to put in my PC.

My email is davee9631@yahoo.com
If you know a lot about this stuff can you please email if you are willing to help me, if I still have questions.

Thanks a lot, this will really help me.

There are several websites that you can go to that offer upgrades. All you have to do is putt in the brand of computer and model #. Or you can go to your computer manufacturers website and order the parts directly from them. Find your model of computer and select upgrade and how.
