mollusks are a grouping of soft bodied invertibrates that includes clams, scallops, snails, slug, octopi, and squids. Basically anything with a soft body whether it has a shell or not. Some are very simple some are pretty complex. Octopi and Squids have demonstrated complex problem solving abilities. There is so much variation in mollusks that I really can't tell you all the major parts. I guess you will have to do some of your homework for yourself. But they can be very interesting.

When the self-destruct sequence is activated all the Mollusks run to the "Pseudopod" which is a "Fake Escape Pod" it is actually just a room with the words "ROFL MOLLUSKS" on the wall. The reason for this is because humans are considered a more worthy being and mollusks are selfish. This allows the humans to escape in the real pods, while the mollusks get blown up in their pseudopods.

I'm not going to do your homework for you but I'll give you a clue - mussels and clams are both mollusks. Now do the rest yourself.
