My mom was timing the food on the stove on the microwave because she didn't know how to use the timer on the microwave so I stopped the microwave and put the remaining time on the timer on the microwave. It worked for a few minutes but then the microwave went out.
Why? Was it because the microwave got to hot?
B/c the microwave was hot when I stopped it and put the time on the timer.
Still is, once it cools down i am hoping it works.
If not thats one more thing that has stopped working in the house.

All I no, is u never run the microwave w/o putting a cup/glass of water in there.. u have to have something to a absorb the heat..
I hope it will work once it has cools down.. good luck,, this will be a good gift to get ur mom for Christmas..

It's a safety mechanism to prevent a fire, it should work again after it cools off.
