there are seven pages of little white squares!
they should be letters and words!

So this is what happened. I typed up my lab at school, then put it on my flash drive. Then i brought my flashdrive home, and opened my lab and it is all SQUARES!

:( help?

i tried changing the font and no luck.... still lots of squares :(
both of the documents were word.

If you saved it directly to the flash drive, instead of saving it to the school's hard drive and then copying that file to the flash drive, then the document got corrupted. I'm not sure if you can recover the data. It could also possibly an incompatible file type. Did you save it as a Word document and open it with Microsoft Word at home?

What was the application you used at school to create the document, and what was the application you used at home to try to open it?

Note that Microsoft uses the .doc extension for incompatible types; for example, both Word and Works use it, but Works won't open a .doc created by Word.

The report association has been replaced. once you double click the report is it beginning in be conscious? attempt to suited click the report and decide open with. Then pick be conscious and the container on the backside that pronounces continuously open with this software. that would desire to do the trick.

try changing the letters back to times new roman or something of that sort
