For any swimming sports "speedo's" Are still standard atire for men and Leotards are still standard atire for women's gymnastics. But yet everyone seems to go "eeww" when they see men in speedo's and women in the gym in leotards or work out bikini's. At least the majority response when ever I ask in yahoo answers anyway...

i have nothing against speedos...there are a few guys on my swim team who wear them, and since they are in shape, they look quite good in them too. probably the reason why most people don't like speedos is because for some odd reason they think that "only gay guys wear them".....and about work out bikini's, it might be because the some people who wear them aren't as slender as the athletes in the Olympics......

That's a VERY good question. Probaly because of tradition instead of fashion trends.

those who dont have good bosies are jelous of those who wear. i say more people should wear speedos and leos, it does not matter the body type, i wear both
