Sometimes after I workout at the gym for a few hours I have trouble urinating afterwards. It only comes out in short bursts and I have to stay in the bathroom for a really long time. It only happens after I work out usually. One doctor told me it wasn't a cause for alarm.

Has this happened to anyone? (I'm 17 btw)

My brother had that problem as a teenager. It slowly got worse until sometimes he couldn't piss at all which was somewhat frightening, he would have to wait till he calmed down to finish. After that happened a few times he eventually went to the doctor.they had him drink some kind of radioactive liquid so they could trace his urine flow on a floroscope (???). They were able to see that he had what they call a stricture (a build up of scar tissue) in his piss tube. He literally had to have his dick reamed out with some sort of tool, it was quite sore for a number of days. After being plugged up for several years, the first time he pissed after the procedure he laughed that it was like a cow pissing on a flat rock.

If you get no burning sensation before urinating or if it's difficult to start the stream usually you do not have a bladder infection.
If I were you I would go first class and have a check up with a Urologist. Explain all the sensations you are having.

Look up kegel exercises & begin doing them. They strengthen the ability to control urination as well as ejaculation.
