I think I have many favourites....although one hymn that springs instantly to mind is Ralph Vaughan Williams' setting of "For All The Saints"....it is such fun to sing.

Holy, Holy, Holy. It expresses the main attribute of the one and only Omnipotent and Omnipresent God, who is worthy of worship and praise from all of his creation. Revelation 4 shows that this is what takes place in the heavenly realm. The angelic hosts and the saints don't yell out, "Loving God" or "Merciful God" but "Holy God"!
