Neighbors, helping other countries, fellow Americans (and not just Americans, but all people), the constitution, the fact that the name is phonetic, and the diversity. Also the freedoms, and, even though it seems innefective and counterintuitive at times, the governments (state, fed, and local) sometimes cares for the people.

The scenery.
I have been lucky enough to see just about every state of the Union and the United States is a very beautiful country!
I also love the fact that we are still searching to be the best we can be. Many of us anyway.
We seem to have different ideas of what that means and how to get there but heaven forbid if we ever stop!

While our freedoms have been seriously eroded since I was a young man and even more so for my father's generation, Americans STILL have more freedom and privilege that any other nation in the world.
The United States of America IS what every other civilized country aspires to.

I love that I have the right to answer questions on this site without worrying about the government busting down my door. Especially since I have no pants on and only one sock.

It's pretty much the best place to live, whatever problems it might have.
Some things I love: modern plumbing, coffee shops, endless opportunities, and, as others have said, freedom.
