Too much, they're one of the biggest scams around. They tell anyone who walks the door (or who they lure in) that they can be a model even if they're 5' 0" and 200 lbs. Just do a web search for John Casablancas scam and see how many pages come up. Many letters on modelingscams.com, notes in the forums on models.com, ripoffreport.com, other questions here on yahoo, they all say the same thing. Over prices charm school, not an agency. And they lie to get your money.

Don't do it. Look at websites for legit agencies and see how you submit to them or go to an open call.

Yeah, those modeling 'schools' are a scam. No, there is most definitely no classes needed to become a model. Call a reputable agency in a major city, like NY, and ask them for advice. They would know where to turn in Denver, if at all possible. Best of luck!

I've been recently looking into modeling agencies. and agencies dont make you pay to be with them John Casablancas in basically just a school. i suggest going to Ford, Elite, IMG and getting with them. they'll teach you things and send you on castintgs. good luck
