Well I'm not doing your homework for you - but here's how YOU can do it.

How do citizens influence what politicians do? How do they get politicians to listen to what they think? Once you've thought of a way that people do this then find out some stuff about it.

Once you've done that then say how YOU could do it; how it bears relevance to you.

For example take a typical highschool. The politics that go on here are really little different from how a country is run, there are popular people who know how to get what they want and have a lot of influence and there are people who run things for other people (I.e. teachers). For instance - if you wanted to arrange a dance at your school how would you get your principle to listen to what you think? How would that apply to politics?

We can always tell when school lets out and it is homework time. The sit in front of one of the best tools in the world to do homework with and they waste it asking questions of people who don't care rather than researching the Internet. I wish we had this kind of thing when I was in school. We actually had to go to the library and read books, magazines, journals and news papers. We had to know how to locate material in the library. Imagine that!

1. Many forms and levels of U.S political process. The most poinient form of citizen involvement in the political process is seen right now with participation in general caucus for election of our President.

2. Most effective venue for myself and my "peers" to take a more active role in the political process is through the local initative process. By this venue, local and regional interests are put forward to the masses for consideration and possible adoption of new laws that govern the land.

You really need to contact the National Education Association. They'll see to it you get the answers you're supposed to have without gumming up the works with facts and history.

It's spelled peers. Google "Write your Representative" and ask them. Explain that you are lazy and want them to work for you. Maybe that will get them off their "earmarks" and get them working to advance the country instead of whining how bad it is.

You are looking for someone to do your homework. That is laziness. If you were looking for help then that is another thing.
