Do you mean put?

Read the bill of rights and then write what it's about. Putting something in your own words is a test to see if you understand what it's saying. For instance if you had to put

"If anyone says, "I love God," yet hates his brother, he is a liar. For anyone who does not love his brother, whom he has seen, cannot love God, whom he has not seen."

into your own words it could be something like

"anyone who says they love God but doesn't love his brother is a liar. Nobody can not love their brother and love God."

To give you one example from the Bill of rights;

"The Conventions of a number of the States having, at the time of adopting the Constitution, expressed a desire, in order to prevent misconstruction or abuse of its powers, that further declaratory and restrictive clauses should be added, and as extending the ground of public confidence in the Government will best insure the beneficent ends of its institution"

"Due to the fact that some states wanted to make what you can and can't do clearer when they adopted the constitution, and in order to make people trust their government better..."

It's making it simpler and showing that you understand what it's talking about.

A well regulated militia: I take this to mean every citizen should serve in a national service, whether military or just some kind of public service after school. Security of a free state: it is everyones duty to maintain the security of our country and make sure it stays free. Including free from a government that overreacts to current events and uses those events to take away our privacy and other freedoms. To keep and bear arms: Yes, absolutely. BUT, anyone who owns a gun should be required to take safety training in the proper handling and care of that gun. They have the responsibility to make sure their gun does not end up in the hands of children or criminals.
