There are many types. I personally prefer something like O.B. tampon's. They're a little more comfortable. And when you use your tampon for the first few times you might want to use a pantyliner or a pad to make sure you don't leak. Check out the links provided http://www.obtampons.com/index_us.shtml & http://www.beinggirl.com/en_US/pages/home.jsp ( I found that website very helpful when I first started my period). Good Luck.

There are MANY different kinds of tampons out there. I would start with one of the smaller kind, they are easiest to put in and are more comfortable. But for the first and second time you wear them, I would alo wear a pad to see if the tampon is catching all the fluid.

I like Tampax Pearl, but it's different for everybody. The best way is to just try out different brands until you find one that you like. For beginners I recommend a slender tampon with a plastic applicator.

The best kind to use when your first getting used to using tampons is Tampax pearl. They go in easily and are really comfortable. My personal favorite is Playtex sport.

It depends on heavy the bleeding is and tampax is the best.
Heavy bleeding-Super size
Medium bleeding-Small tampon w/toilet paper
or pantie liner
Light bleeding-Pad or light tampon
GOOD LUCK!!!!!
P.S. it can also change by what size you can fit up there!!!!!

Playtex Gentle Glide are the best ones with applicators and O.B. are the best ones ever but with no applicator.
I actually prefer pads and only use tampons when going out.

I have always used Tampax Pearl. They are tapered and plastic for easy insertion. Always start with a small one unless you have a very heavy flow...until you can get a feel for it to know if it will be big enough for you.

Well a tampon isn't going to help with that bottle of Dasani stuck in your anus.
