i'd say 60 billion.
there's 6 billion (or more) people in the world. i'm estimating an average of 10 pairs of shoes per person. (that's an average. i know there are many people who have less and other people who have tons more)

There are still shoes rotting in the ground somewhere...so prolly something like 50 billion...just because there are roughly 6 billion people...doesnt mean shoes arent hiding out in warehouse factories and in dirt.
