Well if they have to brains then they would think different. The baby might die if one was removed because of arteries and bloodvessels they share. Depends on how they were connected and where they are connected. Like conjoined twins? I saw a show not to long ago where one body had to heads but they each had a set of what they were supposed to have until they got like below the bellybutton. That is when they shared. One controled the right side and one controlled the left side.
These are the girls im talking about

They probably wouldn't remove the second head until the baby got older, as performing surgery on a baby is extremely risky... especially if the second head was attached at the abdomen or close to the heart etc. but it would be possible to survive that type of surgery.
The brains would work separately, and think differently granted that the second head was fully functional. If something like this does occur, the second head is usually nonfunctional and is removed through surgery.
It's really rare for this to occur though. Most of the time if there is a second head, there is a separate set of organs, (heart, lungs, etc.) conjoined as well.

the different head would not have a coronary heart or the different organs, it lives out of the different infant's blood, it does have reflexes because of the fact all nerves in our bodies react to touch. however the different head is only a parasite. I honestly have watched that instruct in the previous and that i've got self assurance that the removing must be completed for the healthy infant to stay to tell the tale.

with only two heads and no other extra body parts the baby would probably die at birth. This is because then they are not really twins, but just a deformed baby. I don't think, if the baby survived, that they would even attempt to remove the head. If there are two heads then there are probably two brain stems, spinal cords, major arteries.....too much severe stuff to deal with. So, I doubt this would even happen.

there is a set of Siamese twin girls, I forget their names, but basically these girls share a body, and have two heads and two arms and two feet, like normal, only the head on the right side controls the right arm and foot and the one on the left controls the left side. It's pretty freaky, but these girls seem to be growing up normally and are normal teenagers in every other way. I forget their names but I'm sure you could look them up online.EDIT: Ok here is a couple of links about them http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Abigail_and_Brittany_Hensel

It probably wouldn't be one baby then, but two. There are teen girls alive that share mostly one body, but have separate heads, hearts and lungs. Really different, but cool to see once you get used to it. I saw a special on them on TLC several months ago. I'll link their story below.

Two Different heads would mean two different minds and that would mean that removing one head and keeping the other is like murdering one brother/sister.

I think if it was safe they would remove the head if it had no brain or any sign of life in it.If the head has life I would think they wouldn't remove it.

they have 2 different brains and are very much their own person...and if they were separated..then the one head would go but they should be able to save one of them.
