I am doing a big play and I want to try out for 2 differeny parts. The queen and thr mom, I'm trying out in a couple weeks. Any tips??

Hey Mad!
Here are some tips:
1) Keep calm and relaxed, and study your monologue like crazy!!!!
2) Instead of copying EVERY word from the monologue try to alter the words a teeny bit to make it flow more.
3) Take a video of yourself doing your monolouge, and then watch it and critique little things (I did this before and even silly little stuff, like opening eyes too wide or pulling your head back when talking, can actually make a difference in how you deliver your lines)
4) Don't be discouraged if you don't get it (after all, you came in without the part, and you will still be a nice person without it)!

Know the parts well, and really throw yourself into character.

know the lines like you know the alphabet and make strong choices

try to like the charactor that ur playing, and wish that you wer her. act like her, walk like her, talk like her, look like her. thats my advice
