Eg tight foreskin, and peer pressure from other things?

Is it right and should they contact a doctor or talk to their parents about it?

OK. I will tell you a long story.

I would never ever circumcise my son because there is no real reason for it besides religious reasons and I am not Jewish. Also it sickens me they don't use anesthesia or numb the area. The baby has enough shock and if they scream when they prick the foot imagine someone hacking his penis. It is not cleaner and studies show men who are not circumcised have more sensation during sex and the foreskin actually acts like a rib(ribbed condoms) which may or may not enhance sex for their partner.

My nephew wasn't allowed to be circumcised because when he was born he was too little and it could have killed him(stress the operation where they don't even use anesthesia).

My fiance is circumcised and we talked about it. He thinks it is mutilation.

God made your body beautiful NATURALLY and if someone loves you IT WONT MATTER. Why in the world a natural penis "sickens some women" makes me want to get those women's head examined. UNLESS the guy is gross and does not clean himself it is not unhygienic...at least with an uncircumcised one you can tell if he showered recently.

HOWEVER if my son really wanted a circumcision I would MAKE SURE it was not for something stupid like peer pressure. If he wanted to do it for himself I would wait until he was a bit older(because once it's gone it's gone) and pay for the operation myself even if he was over 18.

So wait until your older and DO IT FOR YOU. You can be circumcised whenever you wish but once it's gone it's gone. DO NOT DO IT because "everyone is" because most of the world men are uncircumcised and when a woman is MATURE and loves you she shouldn't care and if she does ask her to "put in fake b oobs because she feels natural is gross"

Of course it's possible. However, is it necessary?

I would say neither reason is a good one for getting circumcised. Peer pressure is just silly. Do you want to conform to cosmetic surgery? Where does the line end? If people tease, they are most likely jealous. Yeah they might say foreskin is ugly or something but deep down they know that it is very sensitive and pleasurable skin that was meant to be on their penis and they are missing an important part of their genitals. Oh and most men in the world are uncircumcised. The 15 year old will not be with his peers for ever. And they don't sound like good peers if they pressure about that.

Tight foreskin can also be solved in ways other than circumcision: http://circresearch.googlepages.com/tightforeskin
A tight foreskin is common in teens.

There are many disadvantages to circumcision and most men who get it done as adults regret it. Check here for some info: http://circresearch.googpages.com

I think a minor would need to get his parents' permission for the surgery.

Talk to your parents first, and then to your doctor to have the pros and cons weighed out. If you are suffering from phimosis (which is a tight foreskin) they would generally tell you to, basically masturbate to loosen it up, and if that doesn't work they consider circumcision. Don't pay attention to peer pressure if that is the only reason.

Your mom is the only that approved the surgical technique, so sue her! at the same time with your assessment to gangrene: it is a few thing it is existence threatening and your mom might have not been given a call yet to have the well-being care professional amputate your leg. A circumcision is a few thing that's no longer needed till it quite is by cultural, well-being, or religious motives, and because your mom approved it, there is quite no longer lots you're able to do. She ought to have knowledgeable herself before on the subject count of circumcision (whether interior the 1980's the internet exchange into needless to say no longer an attainable source because it quite is right this moment). once you're quite that disillusioned approximately dropping your foreskin, you are able to continually touch a urologist to be sure approximately foreskin restoration. As for myself, i exchange into left intact and chosen to get circumcised at 23 (this 3 hundred and sixty 5 days) yet only because of the fact of cultural motives....do I sense sorry approximately it? No. Do I wish I nonetheless had the organic lubrication of my foreskin? sure!!

Yes a male of any age can be circumcised. You should talk to a doctor, but only if you want it done not because you friends think you should have it done. There are a lot of males that aren't circumcised these days. Doctors are no longer recommending that parents circumcise their infants.

In response to another response, they do numb the penis with EMLA cream 45 minutes before the circumcision. Also, the newborn is given a pacifier with sugar-water on it, which keeps them mostly calm during the procedure. I have seen lots done (I'm a nurse), and where I work 95% of the male babies are circumcised.

It's a personal choice, but I do think it's important for fathers and sons and brothers to look alike. Personally I do not like uncircumcised penises.

yes, you can get circumsized at any age.

Go see your doctor, they will be able to tell you the pros and cons of it.

personally i would only get it done it if was medically neccessary, e.g. a tight foreskin that would cause problems in later life.

getting part of your penis cut off due to peer pressure is not a very good reason.

You should see the doctor about it. It would be ok for you at 15. My brother had to have it done before he married at 24 because of problems with tightness. He was ok with the op.

A male can get circumcised at any age; however, it can be more painful the older they get so that is why the majority of males have it done while they are babies. He needs to speak with his parents and a doctor about it.
