Yes there's a C-Span...But those bastards at Comcast have taken away C-Span-2, which covers the Senate. I' m supposed to buy a digital box and pay extra for a channel I had on regular cable. Fvckin crooks!!!

Uncommonly for a television network, C-SPAN is operated as a non-profit organization by the National Cable Satellite Corporation, whose board of directors consists primarily of representatives of the largest cable companies. C-SPAN accepts no advertising; instead, it receives nearly all its funding from subscriber fees charged to cable and DBS operators. Contrary to popular perception, C-SPAN receives no funding from government sources.

Yes, there is. For those of us with Comcast Digital Cable, it's channel 27. There's even a C-Span2 and C-span3 now.

Yes, there is in fact, two C-Span channels. I watch them when I want to induce sleepiness.

There are three of them now.

But you have a computer, so
you can often find main events cast from one of the channels
live through their website.

They won't cut a major political speech
with commercials, for example.
