Wedge got116 points & Melvin got 119 points. They're both top notch managers and I think they fully deserved their awards! Congrats to both of them.

Anna Banana: if you feel the need to vent your love of softball, please feel free to post a question about it. I'll occasionally watch a softball game, but baseball is really my first "love" I guess you could say. I certianly don't follow it as closely as I do baseball.

Both great managers to win. I knew Wedge would win but thought Hurdle would edge out Melvin.

It is about time Cleveland got some respect. Hargrove in the 90's never won it. All Hargrove did was win 100 games in a 144 game schedule in 1995 but did not win it. Go tribe!

I see no longer something incorrect with it; they did the main with the least. i would have to say, wedge would have been my pick, indians were not figured to win the division, they were thinking the tigers would be the team to beat, but he kept that team going in the right direction, they were strong all year, i dont know much about the national league to comment

wedge was the best manager this year even though his team couldn't pull through for him so he deserved it not so sure about melvin though
