If so, why was it bad?

Yes, I have had a couple of bad airplane experiences. Once I was in a plane that had just reached our destination but for whatever reason could not land. Congested air traffic most likely. So, we flew in a holding pattern circling the airport at just the right altitude so that my ears kept popping and popping and popping. OUCH! Passengers were grouchy. Babies were crying. And my ears,,,omg. Even gum-chewing did not help. This went on for at least an hour. Welcome home, right?

Another time I got pulled out of a line at an airport to be searched. It was crazy. A big part of the problem was that I had been booted from one airline to another, with my luggage still on the first plane. When the flight attendant learned that I had no luggage while checking in with the second airline I could tell by the look on her face that she freaked out. Can't prove it, but I think she alerted airport security via her computer or something, and the next thing I knew I was being pulled out of the line to be searched. I had a lot of fun with the guy who searched me, asking him questions like "Why did you guys single me out?" etc. At some point the guy quickly wrapped up his search routine, smiled, and wished me well on my way. Thank God they did not cause me to miss yet another flight.

fortunately, maximum of my airplane journeys have been fairly uneventful. as quickly as, notwithstanding, on a visit to Greece from ny, they got here across some form of mechanical "difficulty" by using fact the passengers have been boarding. They informed us it can be a 0.5 hour for the fix. Then the pronounced an hour. Then 2. To make this tale short, it took 5 hours to end the fix......and we weren't allowed to get off the airplane!! After that boring 5 hours, it became nevertheless yet another 11 hours to Athens. (ignored my connections, of direction.)

Two.

Having a microburst hit the plane as it took off from SFO.

I knew, but the other passengers didn't because of the fog.

Both pilot and first officer musta had to change underwear, as they knew how close we were to dumping the plane in the Bay..

The other was a compressor stall during ENGINE pushback at MSP in a DC-8. BOOM! The pilot should have had us deplane & check for damage....He didn't..That is why they are NORTHWORST in my book...
