I live in California, though originally I'm from South Florida.
But I'll tell you what is coolest about both places.
I love Florida's weather. I lived there for 30 years.. and it was wonderful ! But the COOLEST thing I loved about Florida, was being able to get up in the mornings, drive to the Atlantic Ocean, and sit there on the beach and watch the sunrise. And then I could drive 2 hours across the state, to Naples Florida, and sit on the beach there off the Gulf of Mexico and watch the sunset over the sea. Not many places can you do that in the same day.
California.. is okay.. not as cool as Florida.. but where we live it is pretty interesting..
We're 2 hours from Reno, 2 hours from Tahoe, 2 hours from Napa, 2 hours from Sonoma, 3 hours from San Fran, 45 minutes from Sacramento.. and so you can imagine that there are a huge amount of fun things you can do, randomly.. we've gone and played in snow up in Tahoe and Reno, and then the very next weekend drove over to Sonoma, and when down by the Russian River to where it touches the Pacific. So totally fun stuff to do all year long.. but where I specifically live now.. not only is it central to all those places I've named above, but it's also home to the Worlds Smallest Mountain Range, the Sutter Buttes. And they are absolutely breathtaking !

OMG! I was born in Salt Lake City Utah but don't remember what it looks like because we moved when I was a baby. I have heard it is sooooo beautiful! I wish to see it one day.
It is kinda funny, I was born in the snow but live in a desert.
HOT *** Phoenix, Arizona! It is nice cause we don't have to worry about tornadoes or earthquakes or any of that crap.
We have snow but only like in the prettier areas like Flagstaff and Prescott.
