It's ok, as long as you don't mind it. It definitely won't hurt anything. When your period gets heavier, though, you will need something more substantial to avoid leaking. Pads are also a lot more comfortable than a wad of tissue in your undies.

Tissue Pad

You mean facial tissue, like Kleenex, or toilet paper?
No, this won't work very well, especially when your periods start getting heavier. The tissue just isn't thick enough to absorb all the moisture, and it's more likely to move around or fall out. And that's far more noticeable and embarassing than any pad!

Tissues are really not intended to absorb menstrual flow. You should be using a pad and changing it every 4 hours or so. It all comes to down to hygiene, and pads are made for this reason.

I would def. not. One time I wore a pantyliner all night since I was just starting to spot, and then I put on jeans and was walking around my house. The adhesive gave way and it came out of my underware and fell out the leg of my jeans.

There is a much bigger possibility of doing this with toliet paper or tissue and you know how embarrasing it would be to have that happen in front of your class at school or in a meeting at work?

Go with tampons. No mess, no pain, no worry.

you should probably use pads, as tissues would leak when your period is heavy, but hey theres nothing wrong with tissues, in fact in some countries they cant afford to buy pads or they have none...good luck

You'd be better off with pads or tampons. Tissues might work in the beginning, but if you don't change them often enough you WILL bleed through them.

I can't imagine the tissue absorbing or protecting your pants/underwear much! It's fine to use I suppose, but you're just setting yourself up for a huge mess!

No, it not good idea to use the tissue. You will need tampon or pad, if you are on period.

What do you mean tissue? Like the kind you blow your nose in? Well it would be better if you just used the normal pad, so it doens leak!

Good Luck =]
