Absolutely! Magilla Gorilla anyone?
Casper the friendly ghost.
this is in the senior citizens neighborhood? I'm somewhat amused.
Check out Boomerang on cable. It's a channel that shows those old cartoons.

Although Jacoby Ellsbury has more steals this year, I think Carl Crawford has proven over his 8 years that he is among the fastest if not the fastest player in the major leagues. First of all, you know triples are all about speed. Well, Carl Crawford led the league in triples in 2004, 2005 and 2006 while leading 4 times in stolen bases. In fact, for his 8 seasons with, for the most part, a below average club, he's averaged 55 steals and 14 triples per season. Who else can you find that can do that? And also, when Crawford gets on, I think he has the ability to get in a pitcher's head a bit more because he's always jumping around and draws quite a few more throws than Ellsbury does when he gets on. But also, you have to give credit to Juan Pierre who has never had below 40 steals in a full season and topped out at 65 in 2003. And last year, as basically a utility player for the Dodgers, he somehow got to 40 steals. This year, he's only got 27 but what can I say. Juan Pierre is pretty damn fast.

Of course we can remember Top Cat and Speedy Gonzales.
Top Cat also called T.C., who was the leader of the Manhattan Alley Cats, was a Hanna-Barbera animated television series that ran from September 27, 1961 to April 18, 1962 for a run of 30 episodes on the ABC network.
Speedy Gonzales also called Speedy, was "the fastest mouse in all Mexico", and was a cartoon mouse from the Warner Brothers Looney Tunes and Merrie Melodies series. Speedy was known for his ability to run extremely fast, and his Mexican accent. Speedy debuted in 1953's
"¡Ándale! ¡Ándale! ¡Arriba! ¡Arriba!" Hope this was somewhat informative

I loved Speedy Gonzales. I don't remember Top Cat though.
During that time Mighty Mouse was my favourite because of
"Here I come to save the day!"
I guess he was my hero.

Eppa! Eppa! Andale! Andale! I still like Speedy, but I can barely remember Top Cat. Wasn't Top Cat the Maynard G. Krebs of the cartoon world?

Oh definitely, I like TC and his gang whose names escape me at the moment.
I loved the Pat Boone record of Speedy Gonzalez but have a feeling it would be considered inappropriate today. I did love those cartoons.
Also liked Beany and Cecil and Johnny Quest.
