Well - after a long (and hard - pun intended) dry spell, my wife and I FINALLY seem to be getting back on the same page with the sex frequency thing.

However - after a hot session las night, I half-jokingly refered to her (in a wisper out of ear shot of the kids), as my hot little MILF this morning as I was leaving for work.

Then when I talked to her over my lunch hour today, she brought up the fact that she thought is was rude of me to make such a comment to her ?!?!?

I said I was sorry, but I just want to know....

As a woman, if your husband refered (or refers) to you as a MILF, do you take this as a compliment or an insult ? I just found it odd that it bothered her so much. Afert all she is a mother (to our children) and I definitely like to *-*-*-* her !! So the description fits :)

Well, sadly most women think of MILFs as older, haggard women who wear too much makeup and are not suitable for anything but sex. What your intention was, was to say, "You're a mother but damn! You're HOT!" Just tell her that you love her, tell her she looks younger than the day you met her and bring her some chocolate. Tell her she can eat the entire box, as she looks great. I guarantee mind-blowing sex immediately after... Good luck!

"right after sex..." ooowwweee, man dont you know anything? Its that period when a human is the most vulnerable emotionally whether the sex was outstanding or a disappointment. Get her some flowers, put the kids to bed and have some ice cream and coffee together in candlelight. A tender moment is needed here, hold hands, play footsy, find something humorous to share and gently reassure her you were joking that the night before was amazing and that she's amazing. thank her for putting up with you (we men tend to be a bit boar-ish and women like that, they like the cave man in us but timing is everything). PS. thanks for explaining MILF i never had a clue as to what that meant. hahaha. However, after re-reading the language you use it appears that you are still a little adolescent in your old age (dad) cmon..."a hot session" "my hot little milf" ??? huh? she's maturing and your vocabulary is going to have to keep up. Remember men and women dont age the same, like toiletries most men need; a razor, a bar of soap, nail clippers, cologne and an iron. Women... a shopping list. God's gift or His sense of humor, who knows.

I think it has more to do with the timing that the actual statement.

You stated that it's been a while and us women are emotional...so a "hot" session like you describe might be looked at by her as an emotional reconnecting with you.

The term MILF had the F in it, and maybe she didn't want to think of what you two did as just a F.

As a married mother of two I can see where she is coming from. My hubby called me that once and I just gave him a look that said it all" Please do not call me that again." Then I laughed and told him that it was such a turn off. He has never called me that again! LOL I love being a mother, I love the fact that my husband thinks I am a sexy woman. But the fact is, most women do not want to think motherly thoughts when they are ...well...you know. It is hard to think of yourself as a sexual goddess and a mom all at the same time. Sure we are mothers, but we are women too.

Does she know what it means? I know what MILF means and I take it as a compliment, but if you just said the initials then I can see where she might start thinking it is something way off base. Make sure she understands the meaning and I bet she changes her opinion on it.

Tell your wife to chill...I would take it as a compliment! Some women get ticked when they aren't treated in a "lady like" manner. However, in the bedroom, it is more fun to loosen up and play the sl*t every now and then...especially with your husband! At least you are whispering that in HER ear and not in the ear of another woman!

It depends on the relationship you have and the type of humor she enjoys. I personally wouldn't be offended (especially since I'm going to be a mom for the first time in 8 weeks), but that's just me. It might be that she feels the sex should be more intimate and not as raunchy, and this is her way of trying to express that. Who knows. Light some candles, apologize, and start your sex off with a massage.

I'm a mom of two and when my husband told me that I was a MILF on his profile on my space I was happy because I knew that even though I had two kids I was still hot.

It would be exciting and I would be happy if my significant other called me a MILF especially if it was "our little secret" and a sexy time such as you had. But some women get offended by the oddest things.

I don't think its a compliment, or an insult. Its just a joke. maybe you caught her at a bad time, or she saw that sex sesh in particular as more romantic rather than raunchy. Also, maybe she doesn't fully understand the meaning and connotations of the word.
