What do you mean "do"? You can make equivalent fractions by multiplying or dividing the numerator and denominator of a given fraction by the same number. e.g., 1/2 = 2/4 = 4/8, etc. You can check to see if two fractions are equivalent by simplifying them to their lowest terms (by dividing top and bottom of each fraction by the same number as far as you can go). e.g., 27/45 and 60/100 are equivalent, because they both simplify to 3/5 (use 9 as the divisor for the first, 20 for the second).
