Can anyone tell me because im going to get a electric bump feed one or a gas ? which 1

OK..so you have one vote for gas, one vote for electric. How about I split the difference and say they're both right and it depends. If you have a small yard and easy access to an outet, electric is probably the way to go. If your yard is large or you're looking for more cutting power, then I would recommend a gas powered one. Also to consider is that the electric ones are cheaper and maintenance free but not as powerful and won't stand up to as much abuse.

I have an electric bump trimmer. I don't think I would want gas because it's so messy and it smells. With an electric trimmer you have to contend with the cord but I'll take that over gas stink anyday.

All you do is gently bump the head of the trimmer on the ground and it feeds the trimmer line out on its' own.

I prefer gas, manual feed string trimmers. Buy extra line, pay attention when stringing new line with either gas or electric. also pay attention to where your power cord is when trimming with electric. You knew that, right...?

Is this a rubber glove trick question? You bump the string head on the ground to advance the line...Sam?
