Take the high road and walk away. They will look and feel like the fool, and you will build character. The more mature person can walk away.

I used to think that I'd said something wrong! But that was when I was young and didn't know myself!! Now, I figure that they are going through a lot of stress, or that I just won't go around that person for a while--or ever. PEOPLE ARE DIFFERENT and we all can't "Just get along!" I just don't sweat it!! Nor do I stick around.
