Win, lose.. it most likely wont matter.
It appears that he made some contract changes to where he wouldn't have a problem leaving at the end of this season and still get paid, along with his assistant coaches for the next two years!
But keeping his job by beating OSU and losing the Rose Bowl. I don't see why not. He's been a very good coach overall.

Read about possible LSU coach moving back to Michigan or who knows besides that. I'm sure things are happening that we have no clue about!

No, Eli is the starter. Jared Lorenzon became these days decrease. Anthony Wright is probably to conquer David Carr for the backup spot. Rookie Andre Woodson will the two be the 0.33 quarterback or get located on the practice squad. Carr's contract isn't guarenteed by ability of the Giants so that they're going to have not have been given any probelm reducing him.

Carr "resigns" at the end of the year regardless of the outcome of the Ohio St. game. Les Miles takes over as head coach, and is welcomed with open arms, and a big fat check.

Carr has seen the writing on the wall (which has been there for about three years) and will "retire" at the end of the year. It has nothing to do with beating Ohio St.

I think Carr will be forced out either way, which is a bit sad since he's a nice guy that did lead them to a National Title years ago.

Carr isn't getting fired with or without a win. He looks to be retiring, but if he wants to keep his job, it is still his. He has more national championiships than Bo, and a 500 record against OSU. Not the type of guy Michigan would embarass with a firing.

It does not matter. His job does not hinge on Ohio.
Rumor mill says he will retire this year and the job could possibly go to Les Miles....err.....I really don't care for Miles but if the powers that be do then he will probably step up. He is a Michigan man anyway and would probably love the thought of coming home.

No matter what happens, I believe Carr will retire, which opens the job up for Les Miles. Under your scenario, though, he would retain his job.

It's already rumored that Carr is retiring anyway, regardless if he wins or loses to the SUCKEYES.
Someone posted an article yesterday.
