Ohhh I don't know maybe the same reason that Bill Clinton( Mr. Draft Dodger himself), Ted Kennedy whose daddy pullued strings to keep him away from the war in Korea and served in Europe for two years instead, and Hillary Clinton and a couple of other famous democrats haven't served as well.

Armed services were fine for suckers, but if you could get the doctor to say your butt cyst was too serious for something as trivial as war, or your 5 deferments for conservative reasons, or daddy got you posted stateside in a cushy job, where you show once a month....maybe. it is great to sit and shout your support as long as bullets never fly, and you never see the blood. Like a John Wayne movie good guys never die, and you only risk popcorn in your teeth, then years later talk like a big hero.

How is that relevant to anything ? Most of our famous Liberals have never served either and yet historically it is Liberal Democrat who get us in to costly never ending wars such as
1. WWI, thanks to Woodrow Wilson a Democrat
2. WWII, thanks to the misleading and questionable behavior of Franklin D. Roosevelt
3. Korea, complements of Harry Truman
4. That wonderful boondoggle of Vietnam, brought to us by the sober brother of Teddy Kennedy and escalated by LBJ
each of those was far most costly to this country in actually dollars and lost manpower than this little issue in the middle east.

why do you think Bill Clinton is such a friend to George w Bush.because cowards hang out with cowards.bush could;nt follow orders.and bill ran to another country so he would;nt have to serve his country in time of war.rush is just a mama boy.he probably cried when he got his draft papers.then ran to a doctor and says please help me stay out of the service i;am so scared.Coulter another coward.no wonder everyone hates America we seem to have a bunch of misfits running our country.

I do not remember combat experience as
being considered a prerequisite for radio hosts.
