i live in ohio, and i dont care who wins... its the toilet bowl as far as i am concerned. in fact, whoever wins will just get slaughtered in the rose bowl, and the loser will get slaughtered in a lesser bowl.

Bro i don't know where you get your facts but this game is the Big 10 championship game. also the Ohio State is not out of national title talk just yet. If Ohio State can win the MU Vs OSU game we win the Big 10 Champ. That's our last game. In a very unlikely chance that Ohio can jump in some spots b/c all the teams in front of us have two more games left. Also Ohio State Mi game is said to be one of the biggest rivalries in the US behind the Red Sox, Yankees game. Every country you go to you will find an abundance of OSU fans. I just recently went to England and found OSU fans watching the Penn State game.

Michigan played Oregon who is currently in contention for the championship bowl. Although in most scenarios that is pretty negligible, the BCS is in a very unstable position right now, and if a few things happen within the next few weeks (namely Oklahoma losing to anyone especially Kansas) Michigan's win or loss may give either Kansas (assuming Kansas wins out) or Oregon the edge it needs to take the number 2 spot. So that's who cares, as for who's going to watch it... Im not sure I know I don't give crap about that $-H!-T.

It is a huge game, with National Title implications.. now stop laughing and hear me out. Ohio State could still make the title game if a lot of crazy stuff happened ahead of them. It is not impossible just not very plausable.
So I would certainly like to see Michigan win, just to make 100% sure there is no OSU in the title game.

The Big 10 is so bad that 10 0f 11 schools are bowl eligible.
Everyone thinks their conference is "THE BEST" if you can get to a BCS Bowl your in a good conference. These 2 schools play for tradition, its COLLEGE FOOTBALL! I don't care who wins Auburn vs Alabama but I watch because it's i rivalry. I watch USC vs UCLA, same reason. So if your a fan of your school that's fine, but a true COLLEGE FOOTBALL fan just appreciates a good game. Look at KY vs Louisville this year, game didn't mean squat but WOW what a game!

This is one of the best rivalry games of all times. There will be a lot of people across the country watching this game even if they are not fans of either team.
Besides that, it doesn't matter where they stand in the rankings. I am a die hard Aggie fan and watch or listen to every game form start to finish if they are winning 21-0 or losing 50-0.

Yeah and NOBODY watched the HBO special on Michigan/Ohio either did they. The other blogs are ranting about it.......all across the US.
ANYBODY that watches football watches this game.....along with Bama/Auburn. I do not watch much pro football (Lions fan lol) but no matter who is in the playoffs I watch and watch the super bowl.....I do not watch much pro base ball (Tigers fan)
or much pro basket ball (pistons fan) but I do watch pro hockey (go wings)....and I watch a lot of college football.......I always watch the world series playoffs.........the Stanley cup playoffs.....no matter who is there.
I like sports. I would watch the match up for the big ten title even if it was not Michigan/Ohio..........its the fact the top teams of the division are playing.

My question is who are you going to watch instead? WVU vs. Cincy? Georgia vs. Kentucky? Kansas put the shmackdown on Iowa State? Its really just a dull week in college football and Ohio State and Michigan and as interesting as anything else.

I always asked my husband because they make such a big deal out of it. He says that the rivalry is bigger than just our 2 states. Like other people care, too. I barely care, and I live in Michigan. They are still in it, though. This game will decide.
