It depends on the university. I had to take two years at mine -- but many schools only require a year.

It depends on the college and the major. I have never taken an English class here at Duke University and I am graduating this spring with a BS in economics.

I had to take English 101 ,103, 104 for my associates degree
in applied science.But it will depend on your major .

eddy t sounds right. it depends on your major and your college. Some colleges have general education requirements no matter what your major is.
