Does period become irregular when ttc? Is this a normal Period? What day do I count as 1st day of period?

Past 2mos my period has been irregular. The 1st day for my last period was Oct. 15th. This month was a little weird. I began spotting on Nov 6th very little only when I would wipe.Stopped on Nov 8th but began to spot a little more on Nov 9th flow was a little bit more heavy where i needed a pad but not to bad.changed pad twice all day. I thought I could have been pregnant cuz Im trying to conceive but on Nov 13th flow got alot heavier flow. I don't have severe pain. Just mild cramping. This had never happen before. Is it normal to bleed like this before your period. Now my period will be over till like Nov 17th or so. I think its to long. Im 29yrs old never been on birth control. I had a miscarriage 4yrs ago. I need to know if this is a normal cycle? And what day do I count as my first day if I began spotting on Nov 6th but was hardly nothing didnt have to wear a pad at all til friday. How do I figure out what day I ovulate? When trying to get pregnant do your periods become irregular?

This does not sound like a normal period. To count the first day of your period when it starts you count from when you first notice the spotting.

I would recommend seeing your doctor for further evaluation of the situation to see what they think could be going on.
