Typical smarky sentiment, if it doesn't appeal to you, or fit your stern regiment of what "good wrestling politics" are you consider it wrong or stupid, whereas I look at it and see it as good business.
Even if YOU don't care about Cena's wellbeing or retribution for the steroid misquote, a majority of the fans who tune into the WWE to watch Cena do care. I half wonder if Vince got his name into the media simply to keep the kid in the spotlight, after all, he couldn't have truly thought he could go to his old buddy Ted's broadcast company and get a straight interview. Cena's the WWE's franchise player, like it or not, and to keep his name fresh in the ears of the fans is a smart thing to do, especially when playing the sympathy card.

CNN's "creative editing" of the interview calls in to question CNN's integrity as an unbiased news source -- that is a major issue.
The WWE did a nice little tribute to Moolah that aired on their TV programs. I've been a wrestling fan for 40 years. I actually got to see her wrestle. How many of today's fans can say the same? Most only know her as one-half of those two crazy old ladies.
John Cena is the WWE's biggest draw. Anything he does is going to be reported to the WWE fans. It was no different with Hogan, Austin, and The Rock when they were the biggest draws. If you remember we got periodic on-air updates about Triple H and Rey Mysterio when they were out with major injuries.
Having written that, it doesn't matter what the media says about John Cena; the man is talked about constantly in this section. You'd be very hard-pressed to find a question that is not either, about Cena, or contains answers talking about Cena. It is absolutely amazing that one man can generate so much passion.

OK, these types of questions are getting annoying.
Cena fan or not (and I am not one), he is the biggest name in the company of the new generation. Stop complaining already! The issue with him and CNN is a major issue, because CNN changed his words to mean something they didn't, and whether you like it or not, that is a major issue.
In the case of the Fabulous Moolah, I do agree she could've been covered more, but here's the problem:
-Moolah is not as famous as Cena (how many people of present-day wrestling can honestly say they saw her in a match? FEW even knew about her prior to her stints in the Attitude Era)
-Moolah was not on the active roster (if you want more coverage on a death like that, the WWE should do that equally; Look at Brian Adams, Bam Bam Bigelow, and many others. How come they got little coverage after their deaths?)
-The events didn't happen at the same time or within the same timeframe (I would agree with you if both events happened at the same time, but they didn't)
Stop *****_ng about C_n_ already!

Lol, i like the way your not spelling C_n_ 's name.
Well, C_ _a is WWE's money tree, so they talk about him every chance they get. They are going to be giving him promos till the hour he comes back. I think we just have to get used to _e_a or stop becoming fans.

Yeah, Cena is WWE's ratings magnet, If no promos for him, no ratings as they think. It kinda sucks when Moolah died they only mention that once Then a 30 minute promo for Cena.

No whats more annoying is the fact that you sheepishly used _ in cena's name. How childish are you the name you should use is cena. It does not hurt at all to use it.
And just for the record I don't like cena just people who can't man up,

He's really not that bad. His babyface marine/superhero gimmick played a lot into why his performance was so limited in the ring.
Oh well. Some people will never learn.
