My friend and I need to pick a song to sing together for an audition for our school's musical. But since he's a guy and I'm a girl, we haven't really found a decent song to sing. We were going to do Realize by Colbie Caillat, but he wouldn't have a solo so that wouldn't work.

We attempted several Disney Classic songs like "A whole new world" from Aladdin, but we were hoping to do a song from present day. Any suggestions? Thanks!

Oh I just had a thought! Would "Picture" by Sheryl Crow and Kid Rock be good?

Not all current but...

Hate that I Love You (Rihanna and Ne-yo)
Don't Let the Sun Go Down on Me (Elton John and George Michael - not a guy/girl but still a good duet)
You're the One that I Want (from "Grease")
From This Moment On (Shania Twain and Bryan White)
All I Ask of You (from "Phantom of the Opera")
The Prayer (Celine Dion and Andrea Bocelli - or Josh Groban and Charlotte Church)
Paradise by the Dashboard Light (Meatloaf and whatever the woman's name is who sings with him)
A Moment Like This (Kelly and Justin - there is a duet version of it out there)

You could turn pretty much any song into a duet, you'd just have to be able to harmonize without seeing the notes.

The romantic parts had to be sing by a male and female singers so we can feel in the voices. There are songs are meants to be sing by two people, a female and a male.
